Mark Donovan - Producer/Drummer/Engineer
Before moving to Texas, I owned a recording studio in Massachusetts for a number of years. I opened Austin to Boston Recording Studio in 1991. Below is my Bio. I am a rock drummer and have enjoyed playing in countless bands for roughly 40 years now. I logged thousands of miles in a tour bus, rental vans, station wagons, etc. Uncountable hours in the studio with 100s of bands, songwriters, Grammy winners, major label artists, garage bands, you name it, I have recorded it! It all adds up to what money cant' buy. What a recording school can't teach. Experience! What does all this have to do with running a studio? EVERYTHING! Thanks to my new friend, Tony Colemen (B.B. Kings drummer for 12 years). Tony played with me for 2 shows. Great groove BRO! That was so fun! Hope I see ya in Austin soon! Also many thanks to Jimmie Hardin a great drummer, and super guy. He helped do tech work and anything he could to make the show eazy! My friend Jeff Lord Alge, sound man, light man, wedge tech guy, all around great, funny guy. If it can be done Jeff can do it. Ask about his X-rated Ralph Cramden. I was pissing myself!
